Matteo has over 25 years' experience in the Financial Services and Asset Management industries. Beginning his career at Banca San Paolo di Torino (now Banca Intesa), he moved on to be Executive Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa at American Express Bank. He then joined Pioneer Investments, where he held various roles including CEO International, Vice Chairman Pioneer Alternative Investments, Member of the Board and CEO of Pioneer Investment Management Sgr.
After several years at Pioneer, Matteo moved on to be CEO at Olympia Capital Management in Paris and then started his own alternative asset management business, Hermes BPK Partners, in partnership with the British Telecom Pension Fund. More recently he has advised in the private equity, private wealth management, M&A, IP and Media sectors.
Matteo is currently a Non-Executive Director of Jupiter Fund Management PLC, a FTSE 250 company.
